[edit] About

Auer Dult is a traditional annual flea market that takes place three times a year at the Mariahilfplatz, around the Mariahilf Church, in the Au-Haidhausen district of Munich. This is one of the major seasonal events, where you can look for rarities and antiques, try out the traditional Bavarian snacks and caramelised almonds, or just simply have a good time while enjoying the horseback riding and the puppet show. Over here, you can find everything that a flea market has to offer: furniture, ceramics, paintings, fine art objects, mirrors, lamps, jewelry, folk art and many more. Auer Dult features about 300 stands, where you can find items from the Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Biedermeier and Baroque periods, as well contemporary crafts. Moreover, Auer Dult is considered to be the largest crockery market in Europe. Pots, porcelain and other ceramic wares are available in all shapes and sizes.

Auer Dult was first held in 1310. Since 1905, the fair has been organized on a regular basis, about three times a year. Each fair lasts nine days.
