Established in 1984 on Chicago's north side, Bookworks had spent the first three years of its existence in a small storefront before relocating onto North Clark street in Wrigleyville where it remains for almost 30 years now, owned and run by husband and wife Bob Roschke and Ronda Pilon. The store offers a large selection of out-of-print and rare publications, recordings, and old paper items. Their extensive stock includes first literary editions, antiquarian titles, fine bindings, and rare recordings of Jazz, Blues and classical music, as well vintage paperback, antique photos and ephemera.
