Bruun Rasmussen is the most prestigious auction house in Denmark and one the largest in Scandinavia. It was established in 1948 at Bredgade 33 in Copenhagen Indre By], where the traditional live auctions still take place. Since then, further departments have opened around the country and the auction house has representatives in France, Spain, Italy and USA.
For many decades, Bruun Rasmussen has been holding auctions and valuing objets d'art for private individuals, companies, public authorities and institutions. Today, Bruun Rasmussen holds annually four traditional live auctions at Bredgade in Copenhagen, and more than 50 online auctions with about 100,000 lots.
