Established in 1968 by Bernard Steinitz, who is known as the “prince des antiquaires”, Galerie Steinitz features over 10,000 antique pieces, including European furniture, chandeliers, mirrors, Renaissance sculptures and works of art. In 2009, the gallery expanded from its location at rue de Cirque to rue Faubourg Saint-Honore. Since 1991, the shop has been under the direction of Bernard's son, Benjamin. Galerie Steinitz participates in numerous local and international fairs and also organizes auctions of their antiques.
