Located in a beautiful apple-green house at Laederstraede in Indre By, Gottschalch Antiques has been specializing in antique furniture, lighting, glass & ceramics and metals for over 60 years. The shop, which is a family business, was established in Copenhagen around 1940. It was founded by Preben Bronnée who worked as an antique dealer in one of the two basement shops at Læderstræde. Subsequently, the store was bought over by Erna Gottschalch in 1947, and since the early 1950s, it has been managed by Erna's young son Erik Gottschalch, who was formerly a member of Antiques-Union. The antique shop is currently managed by Lissen and Erik Gottschalch’s son, Christian Gottschalch, who is also a partner of Gottschalch Antiques.
