Built on the grounds of the Grands Magasins du Louvre, Le Louvre des Antiquaires opened its doors in 1978, as a result of actions by the famous British investors, the Pereire brothers. Today, this antique mall and museum, which is spread over three floors, hosts about 250 antiques and jewelry shops featuring all kinds of antiques that one could ask for. Some of the best antique dealers in Paris have a second shop located in this prestigious exhibition space. Every year, more than 500,000 visitors pass through its doors. Le Louvre des Antiquaires is a truly unique landmark in Europe.
