Antique Chicago is a store on North Lincoln Avenue in West Lake View which specializes in European furniture from the 17th-19th centuries, as well as in traditional restorative techniques using natural shellac. Among other items on offer here are antique tables, chairs, commodes, wardrobes and many other furniture pieces. Throughout his almost two decades in the business, the shop's founder, Krys Chrostowski, has been focused on preserving historical authenticity and achieving excellence in the art of furniture making. He is a certified antique expert by the University of Arts in Hamburg, Germany.
