Located in the East Village's 9th Street since 1993, Archangel Antiques is offers more than 1,000 pairs of vintage earrings, eyewear, and one of the largest collections of buttons in Manhattan. The latter counts over two million antique buttons dating from the Victorian Era, most from 1860 to 1960, many of them filling dozens of store's old drawers and filing cabinets. The store inventory is changing everyday ans is open to bargain. Being a good source of vintage clothing, jewelry, and home furnishings, the store has frequent visits from designers, film stylists, television and theater.
The store is owned by Gail Busche, 72, and managed by Michael Duggan - the indispensable part of Archangel Antiques.
