Established in 1995, Balinskas Architectural Imports is located in the Independence Heights neighborhood. It specializes in antiques such as antique furniture, jewellry, textiles, paintings and many more. Ray Balinskas, an art conservator who paved the way for the Preservation of Art in Houston, and Lourdes Balinskas, an art historian with a passion for colonial Spanish artwork and iconography, are the owners of the shop. They import antiques from India, Mexic, Indonesia, China and make 5 shipments per year.
