Bonhams is a privately owned British auction house and auctioneer of fine art, collectibles and antiques, established in 1793. Several of Bonhams' locations are established around the world with representatives and offices in London, Hong Kong (2007), Chester (UK), Knowle (UK), Edinburgh (UK), and Oxford (UK). There are locations in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York (2008) and Boston in the USA; and Switzerland, France, Monaco, Australia and Dubai.
Bonhams' East Coast saleroom located on Madison Avenue, at the ground floor of the former IBM Building. Bonhams specializes in American and Contemporary Pictures, European and American Furniture and Decorative Arts, Jewelry, Books and Manuscripts from all possible periods, along with 20th Century Design. Bonhams New York is well-equipped to appraise individual pieces, diverse collections and entire estates for an auction.
