Originating as a small antique shop on Boston's Charles Street in 1978, Brookline Village Antiques relocated to Brookline Village in 1983, hence the name. In 1996 it moved to Boston Design Center, in the beautiful South Boston neighborhood, and features a wide selection of American and European sculpture and paintings from the 18th to the 20th centuries, as well as a good variety of home furnishings at reasonable prices. Specialties include leather books, majolica, export porcelain, boxes, tall clocks, New England fine art and formal antique furniture.
