Christie's is one of the oldest auction houses in the world. It has two salesrooms in London and over 85 offices in 43 countries of the world, including USA, France, Amsterdam, Russia, Italy, South Korea, Spain, Japan, China, Singapore, Bangkok, and others. Today, the company deals with a very wide range of items, namely antiques, Asian art, collectibles, furniture, decorative arts, design items, watches and jewelry, prints and photographs, books and manuscripts. London's main salesroom at King Street in St. James's, was established in 1823 and has since become the company headquarters. Its second London office is located at South Kensington and is considered to host the busiest auction rooms in the world.
