City Foundry, found in downtown Brooklyn, in Boerum Hill, opened in 2000 and began just with furniture and lighting. Now, this throughout design store features a great mix of industrial pieces, early 20th Century antiques, and period lighting. The store's front holds industrial antiques, machinery, and curiosities. At the back room you'll find mid-century modern furniture and the backyard is full of garden items and vintage metal.
City Foundry's owner – Iranian native Sohrab Bakhshi - worked with Ralph Lauren stores in Japan, Israel, and New York, also provided inventory for movie sets and various Emmy award-winning TV productions.
