Situated on West 18th street in Chicago's West Loop, Comet Vintage specializes in classic vintage clothes, accessories, luggage, housewares, and furniture. The store was founded in 2011 by vintage amateurs, Jen Thomas and Jamie Roelofs, who were anxious to share their vintage finds with the neighborhood they lived in. The official name of the store, Comet Vintage, has derived from a folkloric superstition that great wines are made in the years of great comets.
