Flohmarkt Theresienwiese is an annual flea market that is organized once a year on the first Saturday of the Spring Festival (April/May). It takes place on the Theresienwiese, the huge open space in the Munich borough of Ludwigsvorstadt-Isarvorstad that also serves as the official ground of the Munich Oktoberfest. The flea market is sponsored by the Bavarian Red Cross and is considered to be one of the largest flea markets in Germany, attracting almost 20,000 visitors annually. The flea market has it all, from furniture, home decorations, period art, to toys, vintage clothes, knick-knacks and simply junk.
