Established in May 2007, L’Atelier du Presbytère is a Montreal antique shop that was recently relocated from Rue Notre-Dame Ouest to a loftier place in the district of Saint-Henri, Southwest Montreal. L’Atelier du Presbytère offers a wide selection of antiques, accessories, furniture, as well as old and new editions of decor items. Inspired by their French origins, the owners, Françoise and Thierry, create a portion of the objects that are put on sale. Aprons, pillows, curtains and original décor items made from old textiles from 1850 to 1920 are also offered. By reusing old dresses, tablecloths or pillow covers, the owners create an interesting niche for the shop.
