[edit] About
Insa-dong is a must-see for visitors of Korea. Named Mary's Alley by foreign residents of Seoul, it is an art and antique district, where about 100 galleries and shops sell art supplies, antiques, and handicrafts along one main street (Insadong-gil) and over a dozen side alleys. Over here, you can purchase antiques such as calligraphy, old paintings, furniture, books, ceramics, sculptures, woodenware, metalware, as well as traditional Korean ceramics, handicraft-souvenirs, and much more. The area is pedestrian, and has many traditional restaurants, teahouses, and cafes, and is one of the most culturally vibrant part of Seoul.
