Established in 1986, R. N. Wakefield & Company is a Houston antique shop located in the Montrose neighborhood. The shop offers an extensive collection of outstanding 18th and 19th century English and American antique furniture in mahogany, walnut and oak. Among its wide selection of antiques, it also offers Chinese export porcelain and Japanese Imari from the late 18th and 19th centuries, lamps, paintings and many more. R.N. Wakefield & Company also provides additional services such as custom drapery work, upholstering, and furniture restoration and refurnishing. Robert Wakefield, who has been in the antiques business since 1986, is a licensed interior designer in the state of Texas. He has worked in the Theta Charity Antiques Show in Houston from 1990 till today.
