Yoruk Rug Gallery is a small, family-owned business, situated on West Belmont Avenue in Chicago's Roscoe Village. It specializes in unique antique and decorative carpets, rugs, kilims and textiles. Alongside the rich choice of rugs - tribal and oriental - from Anatolian, Kurdish, Persian and other Central Asian regions, you will find here many felt and tulu rugs, woven bags, unique tribal wall hangings, textile decorative pillows, and much much more. Owner of the shop, Mete Mutlu, has been working in this field since 1989, starting in Sultanahmet, Istanbul - one of the largest rug markets in the world. His passion and knowledge are evident in the hand-picked collection of carpets presented in his showroom. Helping Mete with the shop is his wife, Allison Mutlu.
